Verizon partners with David Beckham to give its customers free tickets to the FIFA World Cup

Verizon has teamed up with football icon David Beckham to launch a major FIFA World Cup 2026 fan campaign that will give Verizon customers access to thousands of free match tickets and exclusive experiences.

As the official telecommunications sponsor for the FIFA World Cup 2026, Verizon announced its “Ultimate Access” program, offering customers free tickets to World Cup matches across the United States, including special “Golden Ticket” experiences that allow selected winners to watch parts of matches from pitchside locations.

David Beckham appears in Verizon’s promotional campaign encouraging fans to use Verizon Access through the My Verizon app for ticket drops, sweepstakes, and World Cup-related rewards.

According to Verizon, customers will be able to claim tickets on a first-come, first-served basis during scheduled ticket drops. The company has already announced multiple giveaway phases, including over 2,500 free tickets across 64 matches in every US host city.

The campaign also includes opportunities to win all-expense-paid trips to the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final, exclusive merchandise, meet-and-greet experiences, and Motorola-branded FIFA giveaway bundles.

Online discussions suggest that demand for the free tickets has been extremely high, with some users reporting that ticket drops sold out within seconds after becoming available on the Verizon app.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, making it one of the biggest sporting events in history with an expanded 48-team format.
