Xiaomi 17 Max gets disassembled on video

A new teardown video of the rumored Xiaomi 17 Max has surfaced online, giving tech enthusiasts an early look at the smartphone’s internal design, cooling system, battery setup, and repairability features.

The disassembly video showcases Xiaomi’s updated internal layout, which appears to focus heavily on thermal management and battery efficiency. Reports suggest the device includes a large vapor chamber cooling system designed to handle heat during gaming and intensive tasks.

Inside the phone, the teardown reportedly reveals Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset alongside improved heat dissipation materials and a redesigned motherboard structure. The device is expected to run Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 16.

The video also highlights the phone’s camera hardware and large internal components, suggesting Xiaomi is aiming for flagship-level performance and battery life with the 17 Max series.

While Xiaomi has not officially confirmed all specifications, leaks surrounding the Xiaomi 17 lineup have continued to increase ahead of the expected launch event later this year.
