Poco Pad C1 launches with familiar specs

Poco has quietly introduced the new Poco Pad C1 in global markets, and the tablet’s specifications may feel very familiar to Xiaomi fans. Reports suggest the Poco Pad C1 is essentially a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad 2 9.7, carrying nearly identical hardware and design.

The Poco Pad C1 features a 9.7-inch LCD display with a 2048 × 1280 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet also supports up to 600 nits peak brightness and a 180Hz touch sampling rate for smoother scrolling and gaming.

Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chipset paired with either 4GB or 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. The processor is aimed at handling everyday tasks, streaming, online classes, and casual gaming efficiently.

The tablet packs a 7,600mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging. Poco is also offering the Pad C1 in Wi-Fi and optional 4G LTE variants depending on the market.

For cameras, the Poco Pad C1 includes an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calls and basic photography. The device runs Android 16-based HyperOS out of the box.

The Poco Pad C1 appears to continue Xiaomi’s strategy of rebranding Redmi products for different international markets under the Poco branding. Reports indicate the tablet is targeted at budget-conscious users looking for a compact multimedia and productivity device.

Pricing and regional availability details are expected to vary depending on the market, with wider availability likely to expand in the coming weeks.
