Sony Mobile India is launching its much-awaited Xperia S smartphone in India on April 10. The company has announced on its official Facebook page. Android 2.3-powered Xperia S is the first self-branded smartphone from Sony. The smartphone will get Ice Cream Sandwich update in the second quarter of this year, according to the company.

First showcased at Consumer Electronics Show in January this year, Sony Xperia S features 1.5GHz Qualcomm dual core processor, 4.3 inch display and 12.1MP rear camera. It also comes with 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

According to reports, Sony Xperia S is expected to be priced at Rs 32,549.
