NEW DELHI: Sony Ericsson has expanded its smartphone portfolio in the country with the addition of Xperia Arc and Xperia Play.
Xperia Play is Sony's first PlayStation-certified smartphone. Xperia Play runs on 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 CPU with Adreno 205 GPU. It is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Timescape UI. The smartphone has a 4-inch capacitive display with 854×480 pixel resolution.
There's 1GB ROM and 400MB internal memory. The smartphone has a 5 megapixel camera, 11 buttons slideout keyboard with gaming keys, A-GPS support, Stereo FM with RDS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1. The smartphone claims a talktime of 7 hours.
Priced at Rs 35,000, the smartphone is available in black and white colours.
Sony Ericsson Xperia arc flaunts slim looks with being just 8.7mm thin at its slimmest point and weighing 117 gm. The new smartphone is powered by Android Gingerbread (2.3) and comes with a suite of HD games. It has a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 CPU with Adreno 205 GPU.
The 4.2 inch reality display has capacitive touch support and 854×480 pixel resolution. There is 512MB RAM and 320MB internal memory. Xperia arc has 8.1 megapixel camera with Sony Exmor R image sensor. Other features include, A-GPS support, HDMI port, stereo FM with RDS and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1.
Priced at Rs 32,000, the smartphone is available in midnight blue and silver colours.
