Korean giant Samsung has teamed up with China Telecom to unveil an Android-powered dual-screen flip phone, SCH-W999, successor to W899.

Featuring two 3.5-inch super AMOLED displays with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, the phone packs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Samsung's TouchWiz UI. The phone is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor with a MSM8660 chipset.

The dual-SIM phone comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera and dual connectivity modes (GSM and CDMA2000). Other features include Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi and WAPI (WLAN Authentication and Privacy Infrastructure).

Though no information on the pricing of SCH-W999 is available, it is interesting to note that its predecessor was priced at a whopping $1400 (Rs 70,000).
