The Indian tablet maker, Milagrow after launching a few Android tablets, has now a launched Windows based tablet – Milagrow Kupa TabTop X11. The company aims to target professionals with its TabTop X11 tablet.
Milagrow Kupa TabTop X11 sports a 10-inch multitouch display with 1366×768 WxGA HD resolution. It comes with an Intel Cedar Trail N2600 duo core SOC 1.6 GHz, 2 GB RAM and 64 or 128 GB SSD storage. There is a biometric sensor for fingerprint scanning on this tablet.
In terms of connectivity, it comes with an in-built in SIM card. Milagrow is claiming that the battery of this tablet will last up to 10 hours. It runs on Microsoft Windows 7 (trial version).
Priced at Rs. 54,990/- for 64GB and Rs. 66,990/- for 128GB, Milagrow Kuba TabTop X11 comes with an electromagnetic digitizer and digital ink pen.
Milagrow seems to have announced its tablet at the wrong time, as most of the other tablet makers are currently talking about Windows 8 or Windows 8 RT based tablets. Moreover, Windows 7, which is offered as only a trial in the first place, is not even optimised for tablet use. However, the biggest drawback of this tablet lies in its pricing. The price sensitive Indian consumer may find an over 50,000 Windows 7-based tablet from an Indian tablet maker a little over-priced for their liking, even if they can magically find a use for this tablet.
Speaking at the launch of the TabTop X11, Rajeev Karwal, Founder Director, Milagrow says, "Over the past few years, Kupa has been steadily building up its reputation of dedicated client support and technical know-how by launching several successful Microsoft Windows based tablet computers. When we decided to enter into the Windows Tablet segment they were ideal partners."
