SEOUL: LG Electronics Inc will in January unveil the world's first smartphone built with a dual-core processor, the company said in a statement today. The model, named Optimus 2X, is powered by Google Inc's Android operating system, according to the statement.
LG Optimus 2X will sport Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz processor.
According to reports, the phone will include a 4 inch WVGA display, an 8 megapixel camera plus a 1.3 megapixel front-facer for video chatting, 8GB of memory (expandable by 32GB via microSD), and full 1080p HD video playback and recording, with HDMI mirroring which can expand content piped to your TV or other display to full HD quality.
