JAMMU: Beetel Teletech, a Bharti Enterprises group company and one of India’s leading distributors of telecom and allied products, announced the launch of its latest range of mobile devices for the Indian market.

Beetel Teletech’s latest Beetel GD 310 and GD 218 models were unveiled at a press conference here.

“The Beetel GD 310 and GD 218 are two feature-rich mobile phones at extremely attractive price-points for discerning Indian consumers,” Beetel Teletech Limited Executive Director & CEO Vinod Sawhny said.

“We have ambitious expansion plans and Indian mobile phone users can surely expect some more innovative mobile handsets from Beetel in the coming days,” Sawhny said.

With attractive features and contemporary design, the Beetel GD 310 is priced at Rs 1,799, while the GD 218 comes at a price tag of Rs 1,499.

The Beetel GD 310 is a dual-sim mobile device with a 1200mAh battery for longer battery life. The affordable and stylish handset comes with an FM radio, one-touch torch light and a VGA camera for audio and video recording. The GD 310 has twin memory card slots of 8GB and 2GB each.

With Beetel GD310, users can access “Beetel World”, a service that offers infotainment features like ‘Schedule SMS’, ‘Call Blacklist’, ‘Indian Calendar’, ‘Mobile Tracker’, ‘Private Menu’ and ‘Emergency SMS’.

On the other hand, the Beetel GD 218 is a dual-sim mobile device with a 1800mAh marathon battery which gives 15 hours of talk time and 25 days of standby time. It has an attractive stylish design and excellent sound quality, with features like video playback in .3GP, .AVI and .MP4 formats up to 30 frames per second and an MP3 playback facility.

The Beetel GD 218 is equipped with a 1.8-inch screen and FM radio and supports up to 8 GB of expandable memory storage capacity.
