Samsung kicked off its Developer Conference (SDC) today and made One UI 7 official. However, while One UI’s track record had us anticipating a release this month, it will arrive next year – ouch!

It’s a short clip that nonetheless reveals some key details, like the redesigned icons, a new standalone command center you access with a swipe from the right side of the screen – like you get on popular Chinese phones and the iPhone. The notification area should be a swipe from the left.
