Motorola is going all-in on football fever ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The company has now revealed special FIFA-themed editions of the Razr Fold and Edge 70 Fusion, expanding its growing World Cup 26 Collection lineup.
The newly announced devices combine Motorola’s latest smartphone hardware with football-inspired styling, exclusive software features, and premium finishes aimed at fans of the world’s biggest sporting event.
The standout model is the Razr Fold FIFA World Cup 26 Edition. Unlike the earlier green Razr World Cup edition, this new foldable adopts a darker premium design with textured raised-dot patterns inspired by football materials and stadium aesthetics. Motorola says the texture improves grip while also giving the phone a more distinctive collector-style appearance. Gold-plated FIFA World Cup 26 branding and a matching Motorola batwing logo complete the luxury-themed design.
The Edge 70 Fusion FIFA World Cup 26 Edition follows a similar design language but uses a leather-inspired finish that mimics the texture of a football. Motorola has also added 24K gold accents around the camera module, FIFA branding, and Motorola logos to create a more premium aesthetic.
Beyond the hardware changes, Motorola is also introducing exclusive FIFA-themed software experiences across the collection. Users get custom wallpapers, official tournament ringtones, FIFA-inspired camera watermarks, and pre-installed access to the FIFA World Cup app. Some devices will also include FIFA Heroes, a football-themed mobile arcade game developed as part of Motorola’s FIFA collaboration.
The Razr Fold itself is one of Motorola’s most ambitious foldables yet. The phone features a large 8.1-inch internal display alongside a secondary cover screen, flagship-level performance, and premium foldable hardware. Motorola is positioning the FIFA edition as both a collector’s device and a showcase for its expanding foldable ecosystem.
Meanwhile, the Edge 70 Fusion targets users who want a more traditional flagship smartphone experience. The device includes a high-refresh-rate curved OLED display, upgraded Sony camera hardware, AI-powered software tools, and a large battery. Motorola is heavily marketing the phone’s premium materials and football-inspired design rather than only focusing on specifications.
Motorola says the FIFA World Cup 26 Collection will launch in select global markets beginning next month, though pricing and regional availability may vary. Some European regions have already started listing the Edge 70 Fusion FIFA Edition for sale.
The move highlights how smartphone brands are increasingly using sports partnerships and limited-edition designs to stand out in a crowded market. Rather than launching entirely new hardware, companies like Motorola are creating collector-focused versions of existing devices that combine premium styling with emotional appeal for sports fans.
With the FIFA World Cup 2026 expected to become one of the biggest sporting events ever, Motorola clearly hopes these themed devices will help boost visibility for both its Razr foldables and Edge smartphone lineup worldwide.
