A short while back, Nothing announced that the upcoming Phone (3) will not have its Glyph LEDs on the back, a feature that has quickly become a trademark of the brand. Ever since that moment, speculation ensued that the Glyph LEDs would be replaced with a dot-matrix display.
And now, the company itself has confirmed this. It will be branded Glyph Matrix, undoubtedly to be billed as the next logical evolution of Glyph – and it makes sense, as a dot-matrix display will be much more customizable than a simple array of LEDs dotted through random parts of the phone’s rear.
