Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+’s key specs and renders surface

Motorola’s upcoming Edge 70 Fusion+ has leaked in full, with new renders and specification details revealing what could become one of the company’s most competitive upper mid-range smartphones of 2026.

The leaked images show a device that closely follows Motorola’s recent design language, featuring a slim body, curved edges, quad-curved display, and Pantone-inspired color finishes. The phone is expected to launch in shades including Pantone Blue Surf and Pantone Orient Blue, with textured rear panels designed to improve grip and create a more premium feel.

On the front, the Edge 70 Fusion+ reportedly features a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is said to support quad-curved edges and Gorilla Glass 7i protection, continuing Motorola’s focus on immersive displays in its Edge series lineup.

Under the hood, the phone is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Earlier leaks suggested possible confusion around the processor generation, but multiple recent reports now point toward the newer Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 platform.

Camera upgrades appear to be one of the major highlights of the Fusion+ variant. Unlike the standard Edge 70 Fusion, which reportedly uses a dual-camera setup, the Fusion+ is expected to feature a triple-camera system. The setup may include a 50MP Sony LYTIA primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto lens. A 50MP front-facing selfie camera is also expected.

Battery life could also become a major selling point. The phone is tipped to include a 5,200mAh battery with 68W Turbo Charging support, though some earlier leaks suggested certain regional variants could even feature larger 7,000mAh silicon-carbon batteries.

Motorola is expected to ship the device with Android 16 and its lightweight Hello UI software experience. The company continues to position its software as a cleaner alternative to heavier Android skins from rival brands.

The renders also confirm IP69 water and dust resistance, extremely thin bezels, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The overall design looks more refined rather than radically different from the previous Edge 60 Fusion lineup.

Online reactions to the leaks have been mixed but largely positive. Many users are praising the curved OLED display, slim design, and large battery combination, while others continue debating Motorola’s decision to keep curved screens in the Edge series. Some Reddit users also expressed concerns about Motorola’s rapid release cycle and software optimization consistency.

If the leaked specifications prove accurate, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ could compete directly against devices like the Samsung Galaxy A57, Nothing Phone lineup, Redmi Note series, and OnePlus Nord models in the premium mid-range segment.

Motorola has not yet officially confirmed the launch date, but the increasing number of leaks suggests an announcement could happen very soon.
