Apple announced its iPad mini (2024) on Tuesday with a simple press release and we now have more details about its specs thanks to a Geekbench listing.

The device appeared as the iPad 16,2 and managed 2,817 single-core and 6,982 multi-core scores which is in line with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max – the only other devices equipped with the Apple A17 Pro chipset. Note that the new iPad features a binned version of the A17 Pro with one less GPU core than the SoC found on the iPhone 15 Pro models.
