ASUS has announced the launch of ROG Academy, an esports training programme aimed at nurturing and developing emerging gaming talent. The programme is open to aspiring gamers aged 16 and above, offering access to top-tier infrastructure, mentorship, and guest sessions from industry veterans. Selected players will receive a monthly stipend of 15,000 and the latest ROG gears for training purposes. Season 9 will be led by Saharyar ‘BaDMaN’ Shaikh, a CS:GO In-Game Leader (IGL) with a 10-year career. Previous seasons of ROG Academy have seen over 13,000 registrations and 48 players transitioning to the professional level.
