Over the years, multiple Android OEMs have launched smartphones with variable aperture cameras, but we are yet to see that on an iPhone. A few months ago, The Information reported that at least one of the iPhone 17 models next year will sport a camera with variable aperture, and now, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims the iPhone 18 Pro will also have this camera feature.
That shouldn’t be a surprise because the iPhone 17 lineup is getting a camera with variable aperture, and one would expect the models coming later to have it, too.
