Slim Bezels and Curved Display

The official teaser, shared by Realme executives on Chinese social media platform Weibo, highlights the GT5 Pro’s nearly symmetrical bezels and gently curved OLED display. The company compared the phone’s front panel with another flagship device to emphasize its thinner borders and refined design.

The display is expected to measure 6.78 inches with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, providing smooth scrolling, responsive gaming, and vibrant visuals.

BOE Display with Exceptional Brightness

Realme has confirmed that the GT5 Pro will feature a BOE AMOLED display capable of delivering impressive brightness levels. The panel supports:

  • Up to 1,000 nits manual brightness
  • Around 1,600 nits in high ambient light
  • A 4,500-nit local peak brightness for HDR content

These specifications make it one of the brightest smartphone displays introduced at the time, promising excellent outdoor visibility and enhanced HDR playback.

Flagship Performance

Under the hood, the Realme GT5 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The chipset is paired with an advanced vapor chamber cooling system designed to maintain stable performance during intensive gaming and multitasking.

The flagship is expected to offer LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and Android 14-based Realme UI for a fast and responsive user experience.

Premium Design Continues on the Rear

While the latest teaser focuses on the front, previous official images revealed a circular rear camera module surrounded by a metallic ring, along with a premium leather-textured back panel. Realme also says the device uses a durable aluminum alloy frame that enhances strength while maintaining a comfortable grip.

Expected Camera Features

The Realme GT5 Pro is expected to feature a versatile triple-camera setup, including:

  • 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary camera with OIS
  • 50MP periscope telephoto camera
  • 8MP ultra-wide camera
  • 32MP front-facing selfie camera

The inclusion of a periscope telephoto lens positions the GT5 Pro as one of Realme’s most photography-focused flagship smartphones.

Launch Details

Realme has confirmed that the GT5 Pro will debut in China, where it will compete directly with flagship smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The device is expected to combine premium design, cutting-edge performance, and advanced camera capabilities at a competitive price point.

Final Thoughts

With its officially confirmed front design, ultra-slim bezels, high-brightness BOE display, and flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the Realme GT5 Pro is shaping up to be one of the most compelling premium smartphones in its segment. As the official launch approaches, the device is generating strong interest among users looking for flagship-level features without the premium price tag.
